Phillip Drange is a percussionist, composer and music educator, from Rosemead California. Beginning percussion at 10 years old,

Phillip graduated with a B.A in Music education from CSU Chico. While attending Chico he performed with the University Ensembles, including the Wind Ensemble, Jazz X-Press and A Capella Choir. He was also a percussionist for the local professional orchestra, the North State Symphony orchestra. During his time in Chico, Phillip formed a jazz combo, called the Upstairs Neighbours, which performed for private functions, as well as regularly performed at the Chico farmers market.

After his undergraduate degree Phillip received a music teaching credential from CSU Los Angeles. He currently teaches music to grades TK-8th, in the Garvey School District. He plays drum set, vibraphone and other percussion professionally, throughout Southern California.
